Effectual Prayer

The effectual prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much.

If there is one thing Jesus was good at, it was prayer. Feeding the 5,000, plus women and children, walking on water, raising the dead: His communication with Our Heavenly Father was flawless.

Good News Flash!

According to our faith in the saving work of Christ Jesus, we have the grace of God too. Jesus called us — we who seek to know our Heavenly Father —  His brothers, sisters and mothers and promised the same unmerited favor, the grace of our Heavenly Father God, that He had to do even greater works as long as we remained in Him.

If there is one thing I want to be good at, it is effectual prayer.

Thank You Heavenly Father for covering my heart in the righteousness, mercy and love of Christ Jesus, our Lord and my refuge. Heavenly Father, keep me in Your precious loving will. Grow me, dear Lord, in effectual prayer.
