Praise be to the LORD God, the LORD our GOD, the Most High God, creator of Heaven and giver of earth to the children of men, God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, the Holy One of Israel, creator of all that is, creator of this and each arising precious moment for in and through the Light of the World, our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Living Christ, in Whom we abide and pray and through Whom we know the Most High God as our Heavenly Father.

Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for giving us a Name above all names in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving a people who were not Your people in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for seeking us out, finding us, who were lost, and bringing us home into Your Kingdom, where we belong. Thank You Heavenly Father for the blood of Your New Covenant, doing what only You could do: assure our love for You in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for giving Your only Begotten Son to make sons of us all. Thank You Heavenly Father for opening our eyes to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for enlightening the eyes of our understanding to the great and precious promises we have in and through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for relieving me from the bondage of self that I may better do Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for the death of my old sinful self on the cross in Christ Jesus and the grace that You’ve provided in Him to live this life by faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for yoking me to Christ Jesus and the humility of heart and meekness of spirit I have because of Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for the spirit of receptive awareness. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your mercy and Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for the strength to stand in You, and after doing all that we can, to stand, knowing that we are more than conquerers in You and that as we rest in the peace that You’ve already provided You have already gone forth to conquer all that need conquering and have made our enemies our footstool, because of Your great love for us in Christ Jesus, where we abide at Your right hand side in Heavenly Places. Praises be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for Your propitiation, protection and prospering. Thank You Heavenly Father for this attitude of gratitude, this garment of praise, worship, surrender and thanksgiving. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your spiritual armour in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for girding my loins with truth. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my trust in the Truth of Your Loving Presence and Your Blessing upon my life because of Your great love for me in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my trust in the unity we have in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for the truth and grace He provides. Thank you Heavenly Father for the spirit of truth and comfort Your Holy Spirit provides. Praise be Your Holy Name!

Heavenly Father guide my hand, my head, my heart. I’ve gotten a rebuke from a member of our congregation today. I need a word from you for Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me the Head and not the Tail in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for separating the light from the dark. Thank You Heavenly Father for not hiding Your light in me and burning up all that is not You that Your light shine through. Thank You Heavenly Father for making my eye single and this body full of light.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the breastplate of righteousness and love. Thank You Heavenly Father for the will to seek to know and to do Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for establishing me in Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for the right standing I have because of Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for this new, clean, sound heart that You’ve given me, tender and responsive to Your will. 

Thank You Heavenly Father for preparing my feet with the shoes of the gospel of peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for making a people, who were not Your people, Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing me in Your Love and mercy. Thank You Heavenly Father for giving me a heart opening to Your infinite Light and expanding my capacity to receive You. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for the stillness with which to know You. Thank You Heavenly Father for Wisdom and growing comprehension and application of Your Light. Thank You Heavenly Father for Hands of Light. Thank You Heavenly Father for the wisdom of the worship of confidence in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Sabbath rest to enter into while it is yet Today. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my confidence in You. If there is any one whom I have not forgiven, I now forgive them one and all. Release them and set them free. They are free and I am free. Peace is the order of the day. Praise the LORD! Thank You Heavenly Father for Peace and growing harmony and unity of spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for an infectious rapport and the unity of spirit and love to lead and guide us in our interactions and business doings. Thank You Heavenly Father for keeping me abiding in You. Praise be Your Holy Name!

Thank You Heavenly Father for growing acceptance and grace. Thank You Heavenly Father for guiding me in and through all interactions and giving me ears to hear as a disciple. Thank You Heavenly Father for a teacher and Lord in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for a King in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for an Advocate and Counsellor in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for a friend in Christ Jesus. Hallelujah! Praise Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for a Name above all names in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my faith from faith to faith and from strength to strength. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my fortitude and determination to match Your strength. Thank You Heavenly Father for aligning and giving me the integrity to know Your blessings and favour in my life. Thank You Heavenly Father for greater coherence in the expression of the wisdom and grace that You’ve favoured me with. Thank You Heavenly Father for a skilful tongue and skill with words. Thank You Heavenly Father for competence and coherence. Thank You Heavenly Father for keeping me abiding with and in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for using the gifts and talents that You’ve blessed me with that they may be appreciated and grow. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a good and faithful servant and for making this good and faithful servant Your son. Thank You Heavenly Father for the will to do Your will.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the helmet of salvation. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving me in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for Jesus the Living Christ and the boldness we have in Him to come before You, clean and presentable as only He can make us. Thank You Heavenly Father for making us clean through the washing of His words. Thank You Heavenly Father for living water to drink. Thank You Heavenly Father for planting this tree of life by the rivers of living waters. Thank You Heavenly Father for the everlasting life we have in Christ Jesus, growing in intimacy with You and openness to Your light. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my ability to apply and shine Your light as this life offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for the spirit of power, love and soundness of mind. Thank You Heavenly Father for the mind of Christ and the spirit of receptive awareness. Thank You Heavenly Father for the will and ability to take You seriously and rightly divide Your Word.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the sword of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Holy Spoken Word. Thank You Heavenly Father for giving me ears to hear as a disciple and a tongue to strengthen the weary in all seasons. Thank You Heavenly Father for taking all of me as I am and applying the sharpness of Your sword privately in my secret closet, in Logos, dividing soul from spirit, removing the beam from my eye, that I may see rightly to remove the beam from my brother’s eye that the body of Your believers may be full of light. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for removing the beam from my eye! Thank You Heavenly Father for giving me a hopeful vision and guiding my feet to walk in that vision. Thank You Heavenly Father for guiding my hands to build by and through the plans You’ve given me. Thank You Heavenly Father for the author and finisher of my faith in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for not leaving me blind, but sending salvation, the Lord of all flesh to make a way. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Word (Logos). Thank You Heavenly Father for becoming flesh and living among us. Thank You Heavenly Father for dwelling in and through this heart of understanding and this life offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for rightly defining spiritual terms and growing me in clarity and insight. Thank You Heavenly Father for being with me and for me since before the foundation of the world through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for implanting Your Word in my heart and growing Your Spirit within me to maturity. Thank You Heavenly Father for maturity in Your Word and relationship with You. Thank You Heavenly Father for dismantling my ego, any stronghold of thought, word or deeds that does not acknowledge You or seeks to edge You out. Thank You Heavenly Father for the peace and favour I receive because of our relationship and Your great Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing my pride and any spirit of contention. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing my self-centredness and keeping me centred in You through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for expanding my peace and capacity to receive. Thank You Heavenly Father for an overflowing anointing in Christ Jesus that more know the blessing of Your favour and give You the praise and worship that You deserve… in Jesus mighty name… the great Amen.

Thank You Heavenly Father for our salvation in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for adopting me into Your Heavenly Kingdom and escorting me passed the flaming swords of Your Cheribim and giving me the tree of life in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for life more abundant. Thank You Heavenly Father for this attitude of gratitude, this garment of praise, worship, victory, and thanksgiving. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Spiritual Armor in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for girding my loins with truth. Thank You Heavenly Father for the truth that in Christ Jesus I have humility of heart and meekness of spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for placing me in a position where I can serve others to be Your Love in service to Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for humility of heart and meekness of spirit. 

Thank You Heavenly Father for preparing my feet with the gospel of peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for the truth that You have made a people who were not Your people Your people out of Your great mercy and graciousness. Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing us in Christ Jesus and this life as a joyous celebration of our salvation in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your blood covenant in and through Christ Jesus and enlightening the eyes of my understanding to the great and precious promises of our inheritance in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for forgiveness and forgiving. If there is anyone whom I have not forgiven, I now forgive them one and all. I know that my blessings come from You, all love comes from You, my salvation is in You and because of Christ Jesus I know You will never leave me or forsake me. Thank You Heavenly Father for the blessed assurance we have in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving me from anger and wrath and teaching me not to be afraid because of Your loving Presence and the victory that You’ve assured for us in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for growing clarity and spiritual discernment. Thank You Heavenly Father for wholeness in Christ Jesus: spirit, soul and body. Thank You Heavenly Father for Healing my Masculine Soul. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a father and fathering me. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me the head and not the tail. Thank You Heavenly Father for my headship of this family and giving me the mind of Christ. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Holy Spirit which searches all things and the will and ability to discern, accept and trust the revelations that You provide. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing the beam from my eye that my eye may be single and my body full of light. Thank You Heavenly Father for the death of my body of sins on the cross with Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for relieving me from the bondage of self that I may better do Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for evidence of things not seen. Thank You Heavenly Father for vision logic and growing rapport within and amongst Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for keeping me from being unevenly yoked. Thank You Heavenly Father for bring up my wife and prospering her soul. Thank You Heavenly Father for healing us and prospering our souls. It’s me oh Lord standing in the need of prayer. Thank You Heavenly Father for seeing the poverty of my spirit and meeting my every need.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the breastplate of Love and Righteousness. Thank You Heavenly Father for the right standing we have in Christ Jesus. You said to my heart to seek Your Face, Heavenly Father. It is Your Face that I seek. Shine Your Face upon me that I may know the blessings of Your favour and mercy. Thank You Heavenly Father for a great High Priest in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for the new covenant that You established in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for a new, clean, sound heart, tender and responsive to Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing the old heart of stone and giving me a new responsive understanding. Thank You Jesus Christ for entering my heart and being Lord of all Flesh, Lord of this and each arising precious moment. Thank You Heavenly Father for the Love we have of You because of Your adoption of us in and through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for preparing a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Thank You Heavenly Father for the good sense to acknowledge the blessings and graciousness and mighty Love You expressed through giving us Your Son Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for creating me and calling me into You through Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for keeping me abiding and praying to You in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for the humility and meekness of spirit  we have in and through Your Son. Thank You Heavenly Father for the hunger and thirst for righteousness. Thank You Heavenly Father for an overflowing anointing in and through Christ Jesus and a powerful testimony of all that is possible with Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for the winning of souls to You in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving me and making me whole, spirit, soul and body, in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for the mind of Christ and being Head of my life in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a member of Your church and giving us Christ as the Head. Thank You Heavenly Father for our position in Him, seated at Your right hand side, enjoying Your wisdom, lovingkindness and the victory we have in Christ Jesus, as we witness You making His enemies His footstool.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the peace we have with You because of Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for preparing my feet with the gospel of peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for the stillness with which to know You and to grow in intimacy and adherence to You and Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for the following of Your leadings. Thank You Heavenly Father for leading me on the right paths for Your Name’s sake. Thank You Heavenly Father for a name above all names in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for filling my heart with love and perfecting the love You pour into and through me that those around me know Your piece, joy and love. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a channel of Your Peace and giving me the peace to overcome in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for causing us to overcome the world in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for leading me in all righteousness and making me Your righteousness in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for the boldness we have because of Your mercy and lovingkindness to offer Your Only begotten Son to make Sons of us all.

Thank You Heavenly Father for leading me into leadership. Thank You Heavenly Father for creating me to be a creator. Thank You Heavenly Father victory to wrestling all thought to our anointing in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for the victory we have in You. Your Joy is our strength. Thank You Heavenly Father for a faith that is pleasing to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for the author and finisher of our faith in Christ Jesus. Thank You clarity and focus and a plan for the day. Thank You Heavenly Father for daily plans and reachable goal. Thank You Heavenly Father for unity of spirit and love. Thank You Heavenly Father for harmony and growing rapport and affection with You. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me an attractive representation of Your Kingdom, Your paradise. Thank You Heavenly Father for soundness of mind and heart. Thank You Heavenly Father for clearing out all of the evil from this soul. I know there is nothing of the evil one in Your Son. Thank You Heavenly Father for creating me and calling me into Your Sonship. Thank You Heavenly Father for my salvation in Christ Jesus. I know that You have been with me and for me since the foundation of the earth and that in Christ Jesus You will never leave me or forsake me. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your faithfulness. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing the beam from my eye that my eye may be single and my body full of your light. Thank You Heavenly Father for the light of Your wisdom and understanding filling this vessel. Thank You Heavenly Father for increasing my capacities to receive. Thank You Heavenly Father for aligning me to Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for self-control and self-discipline, spirit, soul and body, because of Christ Jesus and the ability to teach, transform and trust. Thank You Heavenly Father for the worship of confidence in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for the quiet confidence we have in You and the quiet assurance that we have what we ask for in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for hearing us and keeping us abiding in Your Love.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the sword of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Holy Spoken Word. Thank You Heavenly Father for implanting Your Word in my heart. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing awareness and reverence for Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a comfortable dwelling place for Your Holy Spirit only and hostile to all that is not of You. Thank You Heavenly Father for this new, clean, sound heart tender and responsive to Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Word, Jesus, the Living Christ, abiding in and with me through Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for showing me what is His and giving me the power to claim it  as a co-inheritor. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me an encourager and a builder up of Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for the clarity that You’ve only one people: All of them. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving me from fleshly fighting and growing Your Holy Spirit within me. Thank You Heavenly Father for joy, love and peace enough to draw others into Your kingdom. Thank You Heavenly Father for inviting me into Your Kingdom and giving me the gate, Christ Jesus, that all may be saved. Thank You Heavenly Father for opening up the doors of my perception to Your Holy Spirit to Christ Jesus that I may see by faith and not by sight, that I may walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my understanding and most of all my ability to receive Your Love and meet You where You are. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing wisdom and comprehension. Thank You Heavenly Father for putting me in a position to distribute Your blessings and favour. Thank You Heavenly Father for the grace we have and know in You through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for filling this vessel and expanding my capacity to accept more of You. Thank You Heavenly Father for the tree of life. Thank You Heavenly Father for life more abundant because of Your Son Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for this life offered to You. I know there is nothing that You desire except to give. Thank You Heavenly Father for gently and lovingly expanding my capacity to receive and loving me into a place of receptivity. Thank You Heavenly Father for a spirit of receptive awareness and loving compassion. Thank You Heavenly Father for a deepening empathy and Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for a spirit of unity and harmony. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing rapport in this family and growing my skill at pacing and leading. Thank You Heavenly Father for better tactics and a more useful strategy. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me more psychically skilful at gentle persuasion towards the goals You’ve given Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a great coach and a very good father, husband, provider, sustainer, fellow, friend, family member and member of my community. Thank You Heavenly Father for make me to be as You are in the world… Thank You Heavenly Father for not hiding Your light in me. Thank You Heavenly Father for setting me on fire that Your light may shine through… Thank You Heavenly Father for burning through any and all strongholds and habits of thoughts, words or deed that seek to edge out Your glory shining through…  in Jesus name I pray. Thank You Heavenly Father for donning the flesh of a man and sealing Your covenant with us in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving us and this joyous celebration of salvation we enjoy with You through Your Holy Spirit in Christ Jesus, our Great High Priest. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a new creature in Christ Jesus and the putting off of my former conversation with the old man. Thank You Heavenly Father for all that has gone into this new creation You’ve made of me. Thank You Heavenly Father for the putting behind of that which was and the leaning forward to take hold of the great and precious promises we have in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for enlightening my understanding and bring to life my spiritual senses. Thank You Heavenly Father for greater spiritual sensory acuity. Thank You Heavenly Father for increasing my spiritual discernment. Thank You Heavenly Father for spiritual vigilance and the unrooting of all fear, bitterness and unbelief. Thank You Heavenly Father for this attitude of gratitude, this garment of praise, worship, surrender and thanksgiving. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your spiritual armour in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for girding my loins with truth. Thank You Heavenly Father for the truth of my position in Christ Jesus, seated at Your right hand side as You make all His enemies His footstool. Thank You Heavenly Father for calling me into Christ Jesus and making me Your own. Thank You Heavenly Father for offering Your only begotten Son to make sons of all us who believe on Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for providing salvation to the world. Thank You Heavenly Father for gently revealing how much You love us.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the breastplate of love, faith, righteousness. Thank You Heavenly Father for covering me and mine in the precious blood of Your covenant in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for establishing me in Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for perfecting Your Love in this Soul offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for entering into my personal reality and blessing all that I do. Thank You Heavenly Father for teaching my tongue to speak blessings. Thank You Heavenly Father for blessing all that I do. Thank You Heavenly Father for a new, clean, sound heart, tender and responsive to Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for the right standing we have by the grace and mercy You’ve shown us in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for making a people who were not Your people Yours. Thank You Heavenly Father for making Your servant Your son in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for perfecting my Love into a Love that does not fail. Thank You Heavenly Father for establishing me in a love that does not fail. Thank You Heavenly Father for establishing this heart offered to You in the Love by which faith works. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my heart to do Your will. 

Thank You Heavenly Father for preparing my feet with the shoes of the gospel of peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for awakening my ears to hear as a disciple and giving me a tongue to strengthen the weary in all seasons. Thank You Heavenly Father for opening the gates of my perception to the workings of Your grace and mercy in all the lives touched by this life offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for filling this vessel to overflowing with Your Holy Spirit that others may be filled. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a channel of Your Peace and a healing presence among Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for the gospel of peace and the courage to proclaim it. Thank You Heavenly Father for the mercy You have for us. If there is anyone whom I have not forgiven, I now forgive them one and all. Release them and set them free. They are free and I am free. Peace is the order of the day. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving me from anger and wrath and displaying the love that You have spread abroad in this heart offered to You. I offer myself to You, Jesus, to build with me and to do with me as You will. Relieve me of the bondage of self that I may better do Your will. Take away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those whom I would help of Thy Power, Thy Love and Thy Way, Truth and Life in You. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for a Name above all names in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the shield of faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for the measure of faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my faith from faith to faith. Praise be Your Holy Name. Thank You Heavenly Father for the death of my body of sins on the cross in Christ Jesus and this life that I now live by faith in Him as a new creature, coming boldly to You, knowing that You hear me because of Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for this life of joyous celebration of our salvation because of Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a witness of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for enlightening the eyes of my understanding to the great and precious promises we have in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for healing these bodies and making us whole spirit, soul and body through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for washing us with Your Word. Thank You Heavenly Father for a saviour to present us to You clean as only Christ Jesus can. Thank You Heavenly Father for a hopeful vision. Thank You Heavenly Father for filling my spirit and the spirit of my wife with a hopeful healing vision and giving us the courage and strength to walk in the light of faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for faith over reason and the courage to walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You Heavenly Father for evidence of things hoped for and assurance of things not seen.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the helmet of salvation. Thank You Heavenly Father for saving us for good works in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me how I am and mirroring how You see me that I may be more of how You made me to be. Thank You Heavenly Father for stirring up the gifts that You’ve blessed me with. Thank You Heavenly Father for multiplying my gifts and talents. Thank You Heavenly Father for setting me on a path of personal growth and development. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing me into a mature saint and developing me more and more into Your image and likeness. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your new covenant in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for tearing down the partition and making a people who were not Your people Yours. Thank You Heavenly Father for adopting me into Your Heavenly Kingdom and growing me into and through intimacy with You. Thank You Heavenly Father for enlightening my understanding and growing me in wisdom. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my trust in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for the wisdom of the worship of confidence in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for a faith that is pleasing to You. Your Joy is my strength. Thank You Heavenly Father for strengthening me and growing me in balanced strength and clarity of mind. Thank You Heavenly Father for clarity of mind and honourable intentions. Thank You Heavenly Father for clothing me in my right mind. Thank You Heavenly Father for a daunting intellect, the mind of Christ and faith over reason. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing me in humility of heart and meekness of spirit. Heavenly Father uproot my prideful spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for uprooting anything within me that is unlike You. Thank You Heavenly Father for uncovering and dismantling any and all strongholds of thought, word and deed that seek to edge Your Loving will and compassion from displaying itself in and through this expression of Your life and my consciousness of You. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Power at work in this life offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for unity of spirit, clarity and the spirit of unity. Thank You Heavenly Father for the spirit of harmony. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing rapport with in me, with You and among Your people. Thank You Heavenly Father for kindness, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, patience, self-control, joy, love and peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for all aspects of the fruit of Your Holy Spirt in flowering abundance in and through the tree of this life offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for planting me by the rivers of waters that I may be nurtured by Your Holy Word. Thank You Heavenly Father for an overflowing anointing that others may be anointed through it. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me a father. Thank You Heavenly Father for fatherhood and fathering me.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the sword of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for teaching my tongue to speak Your Holy Word. Thank You Heavenly Father for implanting Your Holy Word in my heart and giving me understanding to convey and use and the wisdom to reverence You. Thank You Heavenly Father for washing me with Your Word. Thank You Heavenly Father for calling me into You. You said unto my heart seek Your face. It is Your face that I seek. May You continue to shine Your face upon me and mine. May You continue to fill this vessel to overflowing so that more of Your Holy Spirit be at work in the world, blessing Your people that we might know Your Loving Kindness and give You the glory and honour You deserve because of Your majesty. Thank You Heavenly Father for displaying Your majesty through Your Loving Kindness. Thank You Heavenly Father for the beautiful integration of Your Spirit with these bodies offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for prospering our souls. Thank You Heavenly Father for grit: passion and perseverance. Thank You Heavenly Father for the endurance that leads to victory. Thank You Heavenly Father for our foundation in Christ Jesus, our Rock, the Rock of our Salvation. Thank You Heavenly Father for being our ark and saving us from the storms of life. Thank You Heavenly Father for being our strong tower. Thank You Heavenly Father for emptying us that we might be filled anew. Thank You Heavenly Father for a spirit of receptive awareness. Thank You Heavenly Father for deep listening and growing my ability to learn and teach others. Thank You Heavenly Father for the stillness with which to know You. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing obedience and making me Your son in Your Sonship in and through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for Christ Jesus, my salvation and my strength. Thank You Heavenly Father for making a way out of no way and being the God of all hope. Thank You Heavenly Father for Hope. Praise be Your Holy Name!

Carry the Weight / Project Unburden

I finally got a chance to talk with that mom whom I’d been seeing around school and after school care today. I don’t know if she knows that she is the talk of the town. She came back from the Corona virus lockdown looking so much leaner. I was afraid to congratulate her on her success for fear that she may have had some illness that caused the weight loss. It was just that dramatic! You simply don’t expect someone to go from obviously obese, waddling around huffing and puffing picking up their kids to strolling confidently with maybe a hint of swagger in such a short period of time. What was it… like three months? Especially while the rest of us were putting on Corona weight?!?!! 

She needed a talking to.

Well I was able to corner her today. I saw her walking by herself in downtown Zehlendorf, down the street where the Saturday Farmer’s Market is, passed that little toy store next to the Blume 2000. I had Lil’ Billy in the stroller. We had just come from the his Easing-in period at Kita Teddy where we recently got a place. I flagged her down for a talk. I’d been looking for this opportunity for weeks, at least since the lockdown eased up.

“So… what happened?!?!” I asked. 

I didn’t have to say, “Hey! It seemed like you lost some weight. Are you okay?” as I had been rehearsing. She knew what I was talking about. 

She said that this was her normal weight. People are surprised because they had never known her before, but this is the weight that she feels most comfortable.

I had known her for at least a couple of years, and it is the only weight that I had known her at. I like how she phrased the situation. It was clear from her language that her identity was still at her old weight. I wonder if she consciously shifted perspective to her old weight or had she never felt comfortable at that weight. I wonder how many people take on the identity of a weight that is uncomfortable for them. I wonder if some of the critique of “fat shaming” (beyond the basic offensiveness of mean-spiritedness) comes from people who have taken an uncomfortable weight as an identity to defend. I wonder…?

Then she revealed another startling truth: 

It was hard to eat enough to maintain all that weight. 

She said that she would have to eat all hours. Eat portions that were much too large for her. Eat things that simply weren’t good for her to keep up that size. It was an effort.

Now me, being who I am, I’m thinking that the second thing (eating seeming like an effort) came from the first thing (know herself as a lean person). Seeing and knowing who she really was made the all of the effort it took to become uncomfortable seem extra. 

I gotta tell you. It is extra. I’ve been getting lean lately and once you get passed the body’s lying cravings… okay… okay. Let me be kind to my inner child: Once you get passed all of the misinterpretations of stress and emotional signals as hunger, it’s easy to see how much extra time and energy one spends eating. I’m so much more focused and productive these days. Look. I just missed the start of my eating window and kicked out a blog post instead. I have plenty of energy reserves. I’m not going to die if I don’t eat despite all the noise my body sends up. 

And the last thing she said, which I have to say was the most important thing, was that it was the stress. Her marriage imploded recently like, so many do. She was glad to let it go to save herself, it seemed to me. She said that beside trying to function as a family, eating at times when her body wasn’t hungry, eating grown man sized portions, despite her tiny frame, that it was the stress of handling the kids and school and being the face of the family all day that she used food to cope with. 

It’s much easier now that her marriage is dissolved. 

I wonder how many marriages have dissolved/are dissolving and nobody knows why?

If any of you know who I’m talking about (and I know that a few of you do) please sent her this post to confirm. She was pretty clear: Dads are not carrying enough of the weight of family life. 

That’s the word that I heard.

When she said that she was the face of the family, I said, “ That’s backwards!” 

I’m old school. My wife took my name. Whatever happens with this family is my responsibility. My family’s name is on the line. That’s what I think.

That’s what I think, but to tell you the truth, I also know that somebody has to be responsible. If everybody is responsible then nobody is. Let’s face it boys, it’s easy to cop out. She is not going to drop that baby. We would have to forcibly take the baby from her arms. It has been living inside of her for nine months. She is not letting go of that thing unless she knows it’s safe. For us, it’s easier to let her keep it: You go ahead. Keep on doing that. I’ll do other things. I do have other things I could be doing. In fact, it’s my job to make up some things to do… to be productive. I’m the man.

“It’s true,” she said. 

“I would send out birthday card invitations by emails and the mothers would ask me why there were so many names on the list,” explaining how the mothers would plan the birthday parties together. “They would just take the father’s names off of the email list. They never read the emails anyway.”

Ouch!

She named off a lists of things besides that, that fathers leave up to the mothers, but that one. That one hurt me.

I never read those emails. How am I suppose to care about a Girl Scout sleepover? I actually on some level thought it was more manly not to care. But I know I will be caring from now on. Our Girl Scout leader just left her own man this Summer, found a new apartment and is ecstatic. 

If this family falls apart, it’s on me, not my wife.

I went straight home and told my wife, “If you’re getting any mails from school, make sure you send them to me. If there is anything in German, I’m sure I can Internet translate it.”

I’m a personal trainer. My wife is currently obese. I gotta tell you. It’s got me on my knees. As a personal trainer, it’s really embarrassing, but that’s nothing. I’ve been through worst. I am old school though. I really feel as a man, I’m supposed to protect and provide. And recently I’ve realised, as a husband, I’m failing to take good care of my wife. That’s what I’m confessing to the Lord while I’m on my knees. And that’s what I’m sharing with you right now: I’m failing at taking good care of my wife and that has to change. 

Bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh: We are going to get fit.

 I came from a fitness modelling photoshoot yesterday, and my wife asked me how it went… while reaching in the refrigerator to get an ice cream sandwich.

I scream,… 

Well I wanted to. Instead I ask her into the other room, away from the kids, for a talk. 

I come from a long line of confrontation avoiders. Supernaturally, I get over this tendency and finally confront her with the obesity. I tell her that obesity is an illness that will likely shorten her lifespan and cause other illnesses that will make it really hard on us as a family to deal with. She says that she knows that “she needs to do something.” That is some pretty clear obfuscation, a nice easy out. It would have been so easy for me to stand up and say, “Okay… I just wanted to bring it to your attention. I’m sure you are doing your best.” But fortunately I had been on my knees recently, and the Lord supernaturally held my cowardly butt in my seat as I pressed her for a commitment to action. 

I actually enjoy doing this with my clients because I’m pretty sure in the environment of a fitness studio that we are all on the same page. We are having the conversation because they need help. But my wife is family and in my family we don’t confront. We look the other way to keep the peace and let the LORD handle it. But the Lord knows my wife needs my help and she cannot ask me for it. She is beyond the ability to ask for help. She is overwhelmed. She cannot help herself even to ask. She is just trying to function – just trying to cope, one ice cream sandwich at a time. She needs me to help her, and I can’t wait for an invitation at this point. So I go in… I intervened. I forced the issue. I’ll skip a lot of the messy bits by saying that I call her on her behaviour. I wielded the sword of truth. I cut to heal. It was bloody, but it seems we’re on the same page now. All things are possible, and I’m hopeful.

I’m really thankful for that conversation today. It solidified a lot of things for me. Made a lot of things clear. I’m realising that I’m going to have to kick up my game at home much more. I’m also realising that I’m built to handle a much greater capacity than I’ve been handling. My mental energies don’t run so well picking up slack in the back. I’m built to head this family unit. It’s time to take extreme ownership here like I do other places and parts of my life and do what it take to protect my loved ones from social diseases like obesity, provide health meals and provide systems to run this house as it should be run. My family looks to me and if I’m not playing my position they do their best, playing a position that is not theirs to own. And it’s not working. As they look to me, I’m going to stay on my knees looking to my protection and provision: Jesus, the Living Christ, in Whom I abide through the Word in scripture and pray whenever I feel agitated or doubtful.

Praise be to the LORD GOD, the Most High God, the Holy One of Israel, God of Abraham, Issac and Jacob, creator of the Universe, the Multiverse, all that is within and without, creator of Heaven and Giver of Earth to the Children of Men, Ein Sof, creator of time and eternity, creator of this and each arising precious moment for, in and through our Lord and Savior, Jesus, the Living Christ, in Whom we abide and pray, and through Whom we know the Most High God as our Heavenly Father!

Thank You Heavenly Father for our Savior Christ Jesus and our salvation in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for providing a saviour. Jesus without You I can do nothing. Nothing that I do without You is of value. Thank You Heavenly Father for being with me in Christ Jesus in all that I do and keeping me abiding in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for the blood of Your covenant spilled on my behalf. Thank You Heavenly Father for righteousness, joy and peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for establishing me in love and teaching me how to give. Thank You Heavenly Father for dismantling and removing my egotism: any thought, word or deed that arising against You or keep Your loving Presence from emitting from this life offered to You. Thank You Heavenly Father for mercy, compassion and loving kindness. Heavenly Father You are worthy of all praise! Thank You Heavenly Father for anchoring Your covenant promise in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for working out the gift of my salvation that You’ve worked into me since before the formation of the world. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing my trust in You. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing competence and clarity. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing stillness with which to know You. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing intimacy between us that I may taste and see that You are good. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing humility of heart and meekness of spirit within me. Thank You Heavenly Father for renewing my mind to the great and precious promises we have in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for making me Your righteousness in Christ Jesus and the victory we have because of the great love You showed us in Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for this attitude of gratitude, this garment of praise worship and thanksgiving. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your spiritual armor in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for girding my loins with truth. Thank You Heavenly Father for the truth that You are good, that what You created is good and that You Love what You have made. Thank You Heavenly Father for the truth that You created me in Your image and likeness. Thank You Heavenly Father for adopting me into Your Heavenly Kingdom in Christ Jesus where I am seated on Your right hand side while You make His enemies His footstool. Thank You Heavenly Father for victory in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for the breastplate of love and righteousness. Thank You Heavenly Father for perfecting my love. Thank You Heavenly Father establishing me in Love and Perfecting me in the love in which I live, move and have my being. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for a Name above all names in Christ Jesus! Thank You Heavenly Father for nourishing me from the roots that I may be fruitful in Your Kingdom. Thank You Heavenly Father for kindness and gentleness and unity of spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for harmony and rapport. Thank You Heavenly Father for the spirit of Love. Thank You Heavenly Father for filling me with Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for the right standing we have because of the mercy and grace You showed us in Christ Jesus to come to You boldly in praise and worship, knowing that we have entered into Your courts to be heard and seen. Thank You Heavenly Father for seeing us even in our wilderness. Thank You Heavenly Father for hearing my cries. Thank You Heavenly Father for cleaning me with the words of Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for a sound, clean and new, heart, tender and responsive to Your will.

Thank You Heavenly Father for preparing my feet with the shoes of the gospel of peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for the gospel of peace that You have made a way for our salvation in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for donning the flesh of a man and paying the price for our sins and becoming our true LORD. Thank You Heavenly Father for being our LORD and KING in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for being our High Priest and seeing us with compassion and empathy. Your mercy endures forever! Thank You Heavenly Father for mercy and grace. If there is anyone whom I have not forgiven, I now forgive them one and all. Release them and set them free. They are free and I am free. Peace is the order of the day. Thank You Heavenly Father for the knowledge of my true source in You because of my position in Christ Jesus among Your body of believers. Thank You Heavenly Father for unrooting all fear, bitterness and unbelief. Thank You Heavenly Father for Peace. Thank You Heavenly Father for the peace to overcome all obstacles, knowing that You have already gone before me to conquer all that need conquering. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for making me more than a conquerer in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing stillness with which to know You. Thank You Heavenly Father for inviting me into Your Sabbath rest. Thank You Heavenly Father for stillness within and the wisdom of quiet confidence in You. 

Thank You Heavenly Father for the shield of faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for commanding me to be strong and have good courage. Thank You Heavenly Father for enlightening the eyes of my understanding and growing my faith from faith to faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for the measure of Your faith. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing clarity of mind and recognition of purpose. Thank You Heavenly Father for the gift of Your Holy Spirit. Thank You Heavenly Father for talent and the multiplication of the talents that You’ve entrusted to me. Thank You Heavenly Father for growing recognition and love for Your calling on my life. Thank You Heavenly Father for revealing You’re calling. Direct my thinking LORD GOD… Direct my thinking Lord Jesus with knowledge of Your will for me and the power to carry out Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for relieving me of the bondage of self that I may better do Your will. Thank You Heavenly Father for taking away my difficulties that victory over them may bear witness to those whom I would help of Your power, Your Love and Your way of life in Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for keeping me abiding in Jesus, keeping me abiding in love. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for greater intimacy with You and stability of mind. Thank You Heavenly Father for leading me and guiding me in and through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for ordering my steps and making me to prosper according to Your will, mercy and grace. Thank You Heavenly Father for prospering me and teaching me to prosper. Thank You Heavenly Father for prosperity and healing. Thank You Heavenly Father for health and healing. Thank You Heavenly Father for wisdom and love. Thank You Heavenly Father for the wisdom of confidence in You and a love that does not fail in Christ Jesus.

Thank You Heavenly Father for aligning my attributes with Yours through Him. Thank You Heavenly Father for filling this for Your Light/Life vessel with Your virtue, Your Power. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing the beam from my eye, that my eye may be single and my body full of light. Thank You Heavenly Father for making my eye single. Thank You Heavenly Father for clarity of vision and healing my sight through Christ Jesus. Thank You Heavenly Father for removing all illusions and establishing me on solid ground. Thank You Heavenly Father for anointing me in and through Christ Jesus to heal, prosper and free. Thank You Heavenly Father for establishing me in love and growing my affection for my wife. Praise be Your Holy Name! Thank You Heavenly Father for healing our relationship. Thank You Heavenly Father for such a wife as her, growing me into the husband that I need to be. Thank You Heavenly Father for fields to plow and seeds to sow. Thank You Heavenly Father for good soil. Thank You Heavenly Father for a virtuous wife. Thank You Heavenly Father for my children and a loving family. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your Kingdom Promises shining through us. Thank You Heavenly Father for Your will being done on earth as it is in Heaven. May Your get Your glory in us! May You get all the praise, glory and honour Heavenly Father through Your Son Jesus, the Living Christ, in Whom I abide and Pray. Amen!
